Tony Oursler

In Nine-Eleven (2001), artist Tony Oursler presents a first-person testimony. Living two blocks from the World Trade Center, he was awakened on the morning of September 11 by the sound of an explosion. From the window of his studio he saw the hole in the building, the flames and smoke, and a myriad of pieces of paper flying up into the sky, which he filmed with his digital camera.
