Though it does not bear direct witness to the terrorist attacks, Jem Cohen's film Little Flags (2000) prefigures the events of September 11. Mixing documentary footage, narration and experimental cinema, and set against a soundtrack by Fugazi, this short film, built up from his own archives, shows a military parade in the streets of New York.
